Voices of School-Aged
Assistive Technology Users

Here’s your chance: tell the world how assistive technology has made an impact in your life. Special Education Technology Practice is looking for AT users who are willing to prepare a first-person account of their experiences.
For example, some things you might tell us:

• What works?
• What doesn’t work?
• What do you wish teachers, parents, siblings, personal assistants, friends, and others knew about assistive technology?
• What would you say to the people who designed your AT?

Tell us what’s on your mind. If your article is selected for publication, you will be featured as a guest columnist for the “Voices of School-Aged Assistive Technology Users” feature.

Send your thoughts (25-300 words) to us via email (dave@knowledge-by-design.com) or mail them to us at: SETP, 5907 N. Kent Avenue, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217. Be sure to include your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

All submissions are subject to editing and become the property of Knowledge by Design, Inc. No materials will be returned. Authors of submissions selected for publication will receive a one-time $50 payment and two copies of their published work.
